Film Festival Registration
The Bing Arts Center will present a One Minute Student Film Festival on Saturday, May 6, at 8 p.m. Middle school, high school, and college students are invited to participate. The films must be 60 seconds in duration and produced on a smartphone and submitted in a QT movie (.mov) or an MP4 format. Positive, all-ages-appropriate subject matter is encouraged. The Bing’s festival committee reserves the right to accept or reject films for screening. Films must be submitted with registration by Monday, May 1. There is no charge for participation. There is a $5 cost for attending the screening.
The Bing will offer a smartphone film production workshop on Saturday, March 4, from 1 to 4 p.m. Marty Langford, filmmaker and professor of communications at American International College, will be the instructor. The workshop is open to students and the general public.
Preregistration is required by Thursday, March 2. There is a $5 cost for the class.
